Common questions
Can you match my siding color?
Yes. We match colors from most siding makers, including Alside, James Hardie, Mastic, CertainTeed and Royal, and can cross-reference most Sherwin-Williams colors. We'll mail you a real color sample on request.
Which mounting option do I need?
J-channel receives vinyl, steel or aluminum siding. A standard nail fin surface-mounts over the rough opening for brick, stone and stucco. Front flange and no-flange options fit other jobs. Our mounting guide shows each one.
What's the difference between venting and non-venting?
Venting vents have a screened back so air moves through the attic. Non-venting vents have a sealed back and are decorative only.
How fast will my vent ship?
In-stock vents ship in 2–3 business days. Custom vents take about 2 weeks. Ask about our quick-ship option for custom orders.
